Thank you for your interest in being a school volunteer. We value your contribution and commitment as a volunteer in our school.
Volunteer Induction Process
It is essential that all volunteers complete the Volunteer Induction process annually . It is part of our commitment to providing a safe school community.
Part 1
Induction Program for School Volunteers (30 minutes)
This online training is designed to provide you with an overview of your legal and moral obligations for appropriate conduct as a volunteer in a Catholic School. These obligations relate to student protection, safety and appropriate behaviour at school or in school related activities. When completed, you will be invited to attend a short onsite induction (Part 2) with office staff.
Part 2
Onsite Induction (10 minutes)
This onsite induction covers site specific topics such as emergency procedures, where to access first aid, and location of facilities.
Blue Card Information
Parents do not require a Blue Card for child-related activities if they are volunteering at a school attended by their child(ren). However they will be asked to sign a volunteer declaration that they would otherwise fulfil the requirements for eligibility for a Blue Card.
If you are not a parent at our school and wish to volunteer you will require a Blue Card. This must be verified by the school before you commence as a volunteer. Volunteer siblings over the age of 18 also require a Blue Card.
