School Sports
Aligning with the Australian Curriculum, in term 1 students attend swimming lessons. Our school bus transports the children to and from the pool, at no cost to families.
Training commences in first term for Cross Country and later for our Inter-House Athletics Carnival. A School Representative Team competes in the district sports zone comprised of other Catholic schools and Independent schools.
Inter-House Athletics sports days will be advertised early in the year on the finalisation of Regional Sports and State Title requirements. Athletic carnivals are usually held in Term 2 or 3, depending on dates for other specific sports events throughout Australia. Parent helpers are always welcome and encouraged to assist.
School Camp
Students in Years 5 and 6 participate in a camp each year. This experience provides an opportunity to develop personal and interpersonal skills such as community living, independence and self-confidence. Camp costs are included in school fees and levies.
Excursions
Excursions are an important part of the school programme. Your child’s class teacher will advise you when an excursion is being planned and a permission slip will be emailed explaining the nature of the activity, the time and venue, transport arrangements, what students wear and what to bring. Excursion costs are included in school fees and levies.
