Whilst Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is interwoven throughout the curriculum, our SEL programme focuses on specific teaching of the psychological and emotional welfare of all members of the school community.
St Michael’s School has developed a Whole School Positive Behaviour Support Plan which aims to assist all students to develop positive ways of behaving and interacting with other members of our school community.
Buddy Programme
Our classes are matched with a buddy class. Students are given opportunities to build relationships with an older or younger student. These occasions are determined by teachers, or occasionally as a whole school activity such as liturgies.
